I love the Shakespeare analogy to describe hand carving versus CNC. Also when I wear my sales and marketing hat even I ask my father "Why NO woodcarving?!"

In the interview Ian and Brent discuss hand woodcarving, why it still works today as it has done throughout history, the problems with CNC woodcarving, how modern technology has helped our business, the history of Agrell Architectural Carving and what design books Ian would recommend.

The interview does focus on the USA side of the business (my British listeners will have to be paitent with the ads) but it's a great interview and the Ian's philosophy applies to the woodcarving and fine joinery trade globally.
